Worshipful Master’s Message – December 2016

Greetings Brothers:

Our Masonic year is growing to a close as is my year in the East. I have enjoyed this year beyond my expectations, and for someone who never thought they could sit in the East, it made me see that with the support of the Brothers anything is possible.

I want to extend my thanks to all of you who helped support my year and helped us move the Lodge forward in our activities and in bringing in new Masons to our fold. Brother Charles for his excellence in our Secretary role for his instant responses to anything I needed or asked for. Worshipful Brother Don for his wisdom and counsel, and for his willingness to do anything to help our Lodge and Craft thrive. Worshipful Brothers Jim and Harold for their gentle reminders of ritual and institutional knowledge that only they can posses. RWB Steve for his assistance and support in all matters Grand Lodge.

A big thank you to my officers, elected and appointed for their service and support. A big thank you to all others on the sidelines, for your participation and help, it was greatly appreciated.

As we move into another year of Masonic activities with Brother Bob Landauer in the East, please extend him and his officers the brotherly love and support you showed me. Holbrook Lodge is in excellent shape in it’s officers line for the future,¬† and will enjoy the benefits of these Brothers Masonic knowledge and dedication.

I want to acknowledge several Brothers who many years ago extended a Masonic  hand of friendship when they bestowed the title of Honorary Past Master on my father, Brother Donald Wiley in 1983, allowing him to raise me as a Master Mason. Brothers Don Anderson, James Dorman, Harold Johnson and John Welch were all in the Lodge room that night and my appreciation for your Masonic brotherly love is huge.

I pledge my complete support and help to Brother Bob and his officers in the coming year as they lead the Lodge through our activities and functions. Let us continue our forward movements in making Holbrook Masonic Lodge the Lodge we can. If anything I have learned this year, it is that this is the finest group of men I know, and you have truly shown me the meaning of Masonic Brotherly love.

Fraternally,
Dale Wiley
Worshipful Master
