Pacific chapter has been very active this month, and we are still working on many other events.
On Saturday, October 8th, we held an installation of new officers. Ian Summers was installed as Master Councilor, Liam Negron as Senior Councilor, Gabriel Negron as Junior Councilor, Jayden Stivers as Senior Deacon, Nicholas Crosby as Junior Deacon and Dakota Crosby as Chaplain.
We were honored by several visitors, including William Sardone, Grand Master of DeMolay International, Michael Sanders, Executive Officer of Oregon DeMolay, and Most Excellent Louis Bartrand, General Grand High Priest of the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons International and Dale Wiley, the Worshipful Master of Holbrook 30.
In addition to our meetings, we plan to hold at least one event per month this term. We are also hoping to initiate at least 5 new members. If you know of a young man that would like to join us, please contact either Chris Crosby, Dad Advisor or Ian Summers.
On Saturday, October 22nd, we are hosting a prospect event, beginning at 2:00 pm. This will be an athletic day at the Oak Hills neighborhood park in Beaverton.
October 26th is when our next chapter meeting will be held. If you plan to attend, please mark this date on your calendar, we would love to have you there!
Our members and all Masonic bodies of Holbrook Lodge should be aware that November 5th marks the date of Grand Masters Class in Eugene. So take the initiative and get as many initiates as possible in this short timeframe!
Finally, we will participate in the Portland Veteran’s Day walk/run at Mount Tabor on Saturday, November 12.
