Worthy Matron’s Message – June 2016

Dear Forest Chapter members,

On May 9th, degrees were confirmed upon Bob Landauer.  We had 28 members and visitors present for this great occasion.  Bob’s wife and three daughters were among our members there.  We also honored our Mothers and remembered a special thing about them all.

We held our election and the following officers were elected:  Carol Curry, WM; Jay Carey, WP; Elizabeth Uecker, AM; John Welch, AP; Mary Welch, Secretary; Marietta Burtch, Treasurer; Sharon Kelley, CON; Cynthia Wolfe, AC.  The installation of Forest Chapter will be July 2nd at 10:00 am.  We will soon hear some of the plans from our new Worthy Matron-Elect about our upcoming term.

The meeting on May 23rd will be a night of remembering this “Smiling Heart” year and childhood summers.

Our June 13th meeting will honor fathers and all of our Masons.  Come and see how well our Worthy Matron-elect presides, for I, your Worth Matron, will not be there.  I am going to Supreme Temple, Daughters of the Nile.  I will miss you all and the fun we have.

The final meeting of this term will be June 27th.  We will have the Grand Chapter report and a fond farewell.

My last report as Worthy Matron; I wish to announce that I will be Grand Ruth for the Crystal Snowflakes term, serving with Michelle Combs, WGM, and Allan Beebee, GWP.

Kindness pays off, with love and the feeling of accomplishment you receive from a smile of joy from those you were kind to.

Star Love,
Ann WM
John WP
